Crunch Time

With a week until the wedding, and (probably) just over a month before we set off for Denmark, we've officially reached crunch time.

While our move date is still up in the air a bit, we've been mostly focused on finishing up final wedding details.  With friends and family coming from all over America (Oregon, Ohio, Florida, and more), as well as all over the world (England, Ireland, Denmark, Australia and Mexico will be represented), there are a lot of final details to hammer out to make sure that it's a fun party for everyone.

This, valued reader, is why I've been lax with the blog posts lately.  It's not because I don't love you!  I do!

Thing is, I've never planned anything this big.  I'm not much of a planner in general, actually.  I much prefer to make plans on the fly, based on how I feel in that moment.

So, I've been putting a lot of pressure on myself to get this right.

And with that, I'm off to work on our ceremony programs.

I may post a wedding picture or two within the next couple of weeks.  If you're good.

  1. We are good and we are looking forward to the pics! It will be a fantastic day for sure and everything will work out as you wanted. Good luck!

And for your info: Copenhagen finally got into summer mode with sunny, warm days and looong evenings! Come quickly not to miss it :-)

  2. Hi Ruby,

I found your blog on Expat Blog where my wife and I also list our expat blog, http://theviewdownunder.blogspot.com.

About a year and a half ago we moved from New York to Sydney and had a difficult time finding a reputable international mover. Because of our experience, we started GoodMigrations (http://GoodMigrationsHelps.com) as a free resource for people to rate their international moving company so others can make informed decisions.

We're just starting out, so I'm reaching out to fellow expats to ask them to review their moving experiences on the site. If you could take 60 seconds to rate your mover after you guys complete your move to Denmark (or even mention the site on your blog to spread the word to others), I would be grateful for your help!

    Good luck with your move!

    Many thanks,
    Adam Vagley
